Porsche presents the 911 Targa 4S Heritage Design Edition, a state-of-the-art 911 with design elements from the 1950s and early 60s and the first of four collector's pieces of the Heritage Design strategy.

The 911 Targa 2.0 paved the way for a new vehicle concept. The Targa was originally marketed as a “safety cabriolet with roll bar”. However, the vehicle with removable roof soon developed into an independent concept and style icon.
