Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7

The most distinctive feature of the fastest German series-production car of its time is the rear spoiler, popularly known as the “ducktail”. Porsche is a trendsetter in its use of such aerodynamic features. With its spartan specification, the coupé uncompromisingly demonstrates the principle of “more output through more displacement and less weight”. Even the Porsche crest is made of plastic. The RS 2.7 is the first 911 to sport the “Carrera” suffix, a reference to the classic Carrera Panamericana road race.
