Ashleigh Barty (AUS) vs Aryna Sabalenka (BLR) 3-6, 6-0, 6-3

Ashleigh Barty’s triumph one day after her 25^th birthday has written Stuttgart tennis history. She not only became the first Australian to win the singles final at the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix after beating Aryna Sabalenka from Belarus 3-6, 6-0, 6-3 but she also secured the doubles title with Jennifer Brady (USA).

2022

Iga Swiatek (POL) – Aryna Sabalenka 6-2, 6-2

Iga Swiatek is Stuttgart’s new tennis queen. The 20-year-old world No. 1 was an easy 6-2, 6-2 winner against last year’s runner-up Aryna Sabalenka in the final of the 45^th Porsche Tennis Grand Prix. The victory has duly secured her a Porsche Taycan GTS Sport Turismo. The all-conquering player momentarily on the WTA Tour had extended her winning run to an impressive 23 matches.
