High-end understatement: 964Polarsilvermetallic is a popular choice among car manufacturers as its subtle shade conveys an elegant and sophisticated look. From the 1990s until the 2000s, the colour was offered on the 928, 968 and the 911 as well as on the Porsche Boxster, and in 2007 on the Cayman. 964Polarsilvermetallic is a colour with a cool, silvery-white look that also has a subtle blue or grey tint depending on the light. The colour is reminiscent of frozen water, like at the Arctic Circle. As a standard colour, 'Polarsilvermetallic' and 'Violametallic' adorn the special model '30 Years of 911' from 1993. The all-wheel drive Carrera 4 variant of the 964 is limited to 911 units and features a wide Turbo body.
