Bright and beautiful: Essmanngreen is a radiant and rich shade of green that was developed in collaboration with the entrepreneur Michael Essmann. The first Essmanngreen Porsche model was created in 1992, when the family business entrepreneur had a 911 Carrera RS 3.6 (964) painted in the company colour of his specialised company in electrical installations and solar power systems. Other vehicles followed, including a 911 GT3 RS 4.0 (997) and a 911 GT3 Touring (992). His sons Mike and Stefan Essmann also have a special relationship with the sports car manufacturer and successfully participate in the Porsche Sports Cup – in racing cars that feature accents in Essmanngreen. Essmann, as a long-time Porsche enthusiast and managing director, had his very own individual colour created as part of the Paint to Sample Plus programme. And today Essmanngreen is available to all customers, as the colour has been added to the Paint to Sample programme by the Porsche paint specialists. The first buyer outside of the Essmann family was Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur itself, which had a 911 GT3 RS (992) painted in this colour for exhibition purposes.
