Subtle shine: the somewhat bulky-sounding Fishsilvermetallic colour is not a fad, but a modern interpretation of the historic Porsche colour “Fishsilvergrey”, the colour of one of the first two Porsche 356s imported to Australia in 1951. Seventy years later, Porsche Cars Australia is presenting a special highlight in 2021 to mark the 70th anniversary: the limited edition 911 GT3 70 Years Porsche Australia Edition (992) in Fishsilvermetallic. The colour is developed in the Paint to Sample Plus process and later added to the Paint to Sample Programme. The colour Fishsilvermetallic is a cool and subdued shade of grey with a slight metallic shimmer reminiscent of the scales of certain fish species. The reflective silver tone has a subtle blue to green tint that conveys a pleasant feeling of calm.
