Exclusive sportiness: GTS stands for Gran Turismo Sport and the designation is used for the sportiest model variant in each series. In a classic yet contemporary way, the Porsche brand combines its reputation for precise technology and exciting driving experiences through GTSred. The first specific GTS colour was developed in the 2000s for the Cayenne and its GTS derivative. GTSred, a light to medium shade of red, adds dynamism and drama to a vehicle. The bold colour is deep and rich, conveying an energetic feeling of power and speed. Compared to Guardsred, GTSred is more of a 'blue' shade of red. With GTSred, Porsche reflects its origins and tradition as a sports car manufacturer in motorsport. In the 1960s, Porsche first introduced the 904 Carrera GTS. The racing car achieved an overall victory at the Targa Florio, class victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the 12 Hours of Sebring and was also built with road approval. That means the Grand Tourismo Sport is suitable for long journeys and offers all the typical comforts of a Porsche.
