Modern classic: Jetblackmetallic is a very dark black with a subtle metallic effect, giving the colour an impressive shine. At Porsche, the colour was first offered in 1980 on the 911 SC and then from the end of the 2010s onwards for all model series. Jetblackmetallic appears almost like pure black with no visible undertones or shades. This is achieved by mixing black pigments with a small amount of cool and warm undertones to create a deep, rich colour that appears almost opaque. Different lighting conditions give Jetblackmetallic either a slight sheen or a slight reflectivity, which contributes to its polished appearance. The colour is associated with qualities such as power, elegance and formality.Its feeling of seriousness or authority means that Jetblackmetallic never goes out of fashion.
