Pure White: The colour Purewhite is a timeless, light shade whose clarity accentuates the body lines of a vehicle. The colour is described as neutral, having no hint or shade of other colours. Purewhite is often used as a base or background colour, allowing other colours to stand out in contrast. This pure colour was first available as a standard option on all model series in the early 2010s and today is part of the Paint to Sample programme for Porsche enthusiasts. Purewhite is a simple white, created through the complete absorption of all visible light waves. The colour is associated with cleanliness, purity and simplicity. In 2024, the 911 GT3 RS Tribute to Jo Siffert was created as a vehicle in honour of the Swiss racing driver who died young. It is painted predominantly in Purewhite and has additional contrasting surfaces in Vipergreen on the front wings and parts of the front section. The model is the 917, which was driven by Jo Siffert and Kurt Ahrens to win the first international 1,000-kilometre race on the Österreichring in Zeltweg in 1969. It was the first overall victory for the 917.
