Nostalgia: Sepiabrown is a muted, earthy shade of brown which, like traditional sepia photography, is named after the brownish to grey-black colour pigment. The light dye is obtained from the ink sac of a squid and is also used in watercolour painting. The historic Porsche colour has been available under five different colour codes on the 911 and 912 models since the mid-1960s. These include R8007, 6836, 7474, 7410 and the current colour code 415, which was also available in the early 1970s. Sepiabrown is a muted colour with a subtle yellowish-orange hue that gives it a vintage and antique look. The colour creates a warm and cosy atmosphere with lots of charm.
