An exciting colour: the interesting colour name Ipanemabrownmetallic is a reference to the South American attitude to life in the Brazilian metropolis of Rio de Janeiro. The lively atmosphere of the Ipanema district, which is located south of the city, was inspiration for the colour name and shade. The rich brown to gold colour is originally an Audi paint finish that was available from 2021 to 2022. Customers can now select it from Porsche's Paint to Sample programme. Brown is the colour of nature and symbolises stability, which is associated with security, safety and reliability.
