Standing out from the crowd: Nogarobluemetallic is a light and bright shade of blue that is particularly effective on high-performance vehicles thanks to its sporty, dominant look. The colour's name is derived from the location of a famous motorsport race track in south-western France – the Circuit Paul Armagnac, also known as the Circuit de Nogaro. The colour was first used in 1994 when it was launched on what was then the fastest estate car in the world, the Audi RS 2 Avant. The vehicle was the beginning of the strong RS range, but its roots are in Zuffenhausen – the Audi RS 2 Avant was created as a collaboration project between Audi and Porsche. Nogarobluemetallic is a striking colour that has a slight purple undertone and a distinctive metallic finish that is only visible under direct light. The shade of blue is dynamic and exciting and conveys a feeling of power and speed.
