Rare, rarer, Fountainbluemetallic: This Porsche colour is one of the rarest colours of the 911 generation (997) from 2011. The distinctive paint is somewhere between Azzurothetysmetallic and GTsilvermetallic and is named after the colour of the water in the Palace of Fontainebleau in France, which is a combination of blue and green tones. At the request of a customer, Fountainbluemetallic was implemented as part of the Paint to Sample Plus process and was later incorporated into the Paint to Sample programme. Fountainbluemetallic is a shade of blue that is often described as a light to medium blue with hints of grey or blue. The versatile colour has a calming and soothing effect, creating a mood of serenity. The tone is able to make even unusual colours such as Nordicgoldmetallic or Malachitegreenmetallic appear almost ordinary.
