Darkolivemetallic was introduced with the 911 Turbo S (996) in the late 1990s and was later available on both the 911 (997) and the 718 Boxster and Cayman (987) model series. Depending on how light and shadow hit the surface of the vehicle, Darkolivemetallic can shimmer from black to gold-green. Due to large metallic flakes in the paint, this can create a ‘flop effect’ that leaves a lasting impression.
