Exclusive trendsetter: Sportclassicgrey is a medium grey tone that was specially developed for the 911 Sport Classic (Type 997) – a limited edition Porsche of 250 vehicles that was launched in 2010.

Even then, after the release, the colour trend shifted to shades of grey, which resulted in up to 30 per cent higher demand for the standard colour Crayon.

For both Sport Classic models, the Modegrau of the 356 served as a source of inspiration in the colour development process.

Sportclassicgrey can be described as blue-grey or slategrey and is a sophisticated yet subtle colour that conveys a feeling of elegance, sophistication and timeless style.

In September 2009, the 911 Sport Classic (997) in Sportclassicgrey was presented at the IAA in Frankfurt am Main and was sold out after just 48 hours.
