All those not able to watch the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix live in the Porsche Arena can still watch every rally. Major TV and internet partners will transport the world class tournament to the fans at home.
Every single match in the Porsche Arena will be televised live in Germany. This year’s TV and streaming partners include Eurosport, Tennis Channel and Porsche Tennis TV. There are also a variety of digital services whereby tennis fans can sit back at home and be a part of the action and be actively involved in the broadcasts.
Eurosport begins its live transmissions from the 45th edition of the long-established tournament on Montag, 18 April and will show two matches daily to Friday, 22 April from 5 p.m. The two singles semifinals will be televised on Saturday, 23 April from 2.00 p.m. Sunday’s final will be broadcasted at 1.00 p.m. (all times are local CEST).
The Tennis Channel will show all the main draw matches from Centre Court und Court 1. The Centre Court times are: 18 April - two matches from 5 p.m.; 19 to 21 April - two matches from 12.30 p.m. and three matches from 5 p.m. respectively; 22 April - all the quarterfinals from 12.30 p.m.; 23 April - the semifinals from 2.00 p.m.; 24 April - the final at 1 p.m.
Internationally, the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix can be seen in over 100 countries. A detailed schedule of the broadcasting times can be found on the tournament website.
Live programme and interactive “have a go yourself” activities
In Germany Porsche Tennis TV will show up to four matches daily on the www.porsche-tennis.com website. The schedule: 18 April - two matches from 5 p.m.; 19 to 21 April - three matches respectively from 5 p.m.; 22 April - all the quarterfinals from 12.30 p.m.; 23 April - both semifinals from 2 p.m.; 24 April – the final from 1.00 p.m. The German commentator will be Elmar Paulke.
The Porsche Tennis TV broadcasts will also include a live programme revolving around the main matches. Awaiting the fans alongside all the latest news is also exciting extra information about everything happening at the tournament with an exclusive look behind the scenes. To be seen are also interviews with a variety of guests and entertaining videos with the tennis stars. Viewers can again choose between four different camera positions like for example the Umpire Cam or the Net Cam in the middle of the net. There are also further interactive “have a go yourself” activities” for the community. All practice sessions on courts 1 and 2 will be televised.
